team and enterprise business.
Doctor on Demand,( Launched in late 2013, a virtual physician service headquartered in San
Francisco), has closed a $21 million Series A round led by Venrock with participation from Shasta Ventures and angel investor Richard Branson. Doctor on Demand connects patients with licensed doctors for quick video
consultations via mobile device or computer, Doctor on Demand charges $40 per
15 minute consultation.
Druva,( Launched in 2008, a data protection startup based in Sunnyvale), has
raised $25 million in a Series D round led by Sequoia Capital with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and Tenaya
Capital. This
startup provides endpoint data protection on all devices for governments and
businesses. Druva has raised $67 to
date and plans to use the latest financing to expand into Asia and Europe and
grow its team to 300 by the end of the year.
