AdStage ( Launched last year, an advertising technology startup based in San
Francisco), has raised $6.25 million in a Series A round led by Verizon Ventures and Digital Garage with participation from Newbury Ventures, Freestyle Capital, Chris Noble and Neal Dempsey. Electric Imp, (Founded in 2011 an Internet connectivity startup), has raised $15
million in Series B funding from Foxconn along with PTI Ventures , Rampart Capital, Hugo Fiennes, and Nest .This startup has created a wireless module and
cloud-based platform to provide connectivity for all electric devices. Electric Imp has raised $23 million to
date and will use the new funding to scale its business.
Lookout (Founded in 2007, a mobile security company based in San Francisco), has
raised $150 million in a Series F round led by T. Rowe Price with participation from new investors Morgan Stanley, Wellington Management, Goldman Sachs and Bezos Expeditions, as well as existing investors Mithril Capital Management, Khosla Ventures, Accel Partners, Index Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. Lookout uses algorithms and back-end monitoring to protect mobile devices.
Lookout has raised over $280 million
to date and will use the latest funding to increase its user base to 100
million and bring its technology into the enterprise market.
