Memebox ($18M / Series B), is a vertically-integrated e-commerce beauty retailer that launched in Seoul and is now headquartered in San Francisco. Founded in 2012, Memebox has partnered with 1,000 Korean beauty brands and will use the new funding to build its operations in South Korea, the U.S., and China, its newest market.

 

Lyft ($530M / Series E) (carpooling) connects passengers who need rides with drivers using their own personal vehicles. Founded in 2012, Lyft has raised $850 million to date and is now valued at $2.5 billion.

 

EVEN Financial ($2.8M / Seed) uses data to connect lending marketplaces with more borrowers and verified potential lenders. EVEN just came out of stealth and will use the funding to grow its team.

 

Moonfrog Labs ($15M / Series A) is a Banglalore-based startup that makes mobile games. Founded in 2013, Moonfrog will put the new funding toward hiring and developing games in new genres, including action, strategy, and roleplaying.

 

Highfive ($32M / Series B) is a video conferencing system that provides conference room hardware and a cloud-based streaming solution. Highfive has seen more than 500 companies sign up in the first 90 days and will use the new funding to build out its sales and marketing team.

 

Do ($2.0M / Seed) provides a platform for managing discussions that happen during meetings. Founded out of SherpaFoundry in 2013, Do has signed up employees from more than 5,000 companies to date.

 

21 Inc ($116M / Venture) is a stealthy digital currency company building bitcoin products for the general public. 21's $166 million is the largest venture round raised by a digital currency startup to date.

 

SimpliVity ($175M / Series D) is an IT infrastructure platform that provides enterprise computing, storage services, and network functionality. Founded in 2009, SimpliVity has raised $276 million to date and is now valued at over $1 billion.
