Following the release of Android Device Manager in 2013 (explanations and details available here!), Connectikpeople.co recalls that you can henceforth ask Google to find your Android phone from your desktop.

Meaning inter alia that with the latest version of the Google app: Google can ring it for you or you can see it on the map.
