Nearly $1.413B in strategic funding swallows by the digital economy last week.



Ele.me , a food delivery service based in Shanghai has shook up the landscape with $630M / Series F; while Fanatics; an online retailer captured $300M  in Private Equity and Mirantis Inc , a B2B cloud computing services company grabbed $100M / Series C.

$10M / Series A for  
HelloTech ; an on-demand technical support platform that sends in-person representatives to help customers with issues like setting up a new device or removing a virus. This round brings HelloTech's total funding to $14.5M, and marks the company's third round of funding in 2015.
Investors include: Madrona Venture Group.

$25M / Venture for

Spoonflower that provides on-demand custom printing of fabric, wallpaper, and wrapping paper. With the new funding, the company plans to introduce new product offerings and accelerate international expansion.
Investors include: North Bridge Venture Partners & Growth Equity and Bull City Venture Partners.

 

$35M / Series C for  

Intercom; a customer communication platform with a suite of integrated products including sales, marketing, product, and support. The company will use the new capital to double the size of its team and offer more sales and support products.
Investors include: Bessemer Venture Partners, The Social+Capital Partnership and Iconiq Capital.

$29M / Series C for

Freee; an automated online accounting software that syncs with bank accounts and automatically categorise entries to create financial reports.
Investors include: DCM and Recruit Holdings.

$30M / Series B for

Everything But The House (EBTH); an online estate sale marketplace, that helps people who are downsizing sell their stuff to bargain hunters and collectors around the world.
Investors include: Greycroft Partners, Spark Capital and Greenspring Associates.

$100M / Series C for

Mirantis Inc; a B2B cloud computing services company that provides technology and support for clients to build and run open source cloud infrastructures.
Investors include: Intel Capital; Goldman Sachs; August Capital and others.

 

$42M / Series B for

Ehang ; the maker of app-controlled drone Ghost for consumer and industrial users. The company will use the new capital to develop new products and expand its app ecosystem.
Investors include: GGV Capital; ZhenFund; PreAngel and others.

$50M / Series C for

Coursera that partners with universities and organizations around the world to offer free online courses. With $135M in total funding to date, the company will use the new funds to fuel international growth.
Investors include: New Enterprise Associates; Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
Times Internet.

$300M / Private Equity for

Fanatics ; an online retailer of officially licensed sports merchandise. The company has raised over $600M in total equity funding.
Investors include: Silver Lake Partners.

$3.0M / Series A for

Remerge that helps app developers analyse their app's user base for marketing campaigns, including segmenting them into groups and then retargeting those groups of users in the same or other apps.

iZettle ; a mobile payments company that offers small businesses portable point of sale solutions and free sales overview tools. It will use its Series D funding to grow its existing products.

Ele.me, a food delivery service based in Shanghai. Ele.me has raised $1.1B to date, making it China's third most funded startup.

$10M / Series A for  

Fluxx ; a collaborative work platform that takes the headache out of the grantmaking process for foundations and non-profits. With this new funding, Fluxx will advance the development and deployment of its software.
Investors include: Felicis Ventures and Kresge Foundation.

$82M / Series F for

ServiceMax that provides field service management solutions for technicians through cloud and mobile software. The latest round brings the company's total funding to over $200M.
Investors include: Trinity Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Emergence Capital Partners and more.
