$120M from the Private Equity for security and SM solution, last week among $639M in nearly total funding for the digital economy.



Along with Netskope, Apttus and letgo (a mobile app), Tanium a security and systems management solution have seduced a bunch of new investors last week capitalizing nearly $400M in funding.

$15M / Venture for
Yummly; an online recipe recommendation and food delivery service. Henceforth, the company will grow its product line and enter into new partnerships.
Investors include: Bauer Venture Partners.

$50M / Series B for

Shift; an online marketplace for used cars; the company will use the new capital to expand into new cities.
Investors include: Goldman Sachs, Highland Capital Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and others.

$108M / Series C for

Apttus ; a quote-to-cash SaaS platform built on top of Salesforce.com that can handle quotes, contracts and revenue management. The company has raised $186M to date, and last received $50M in Series B funding this past February.
Investors include: Iconiq Capital, K1 Capital, Kuwait Investment Authority and others.

 

$42M / Series D for

Newscred ; a content marketing platform that enables brands to find content for their marketing efforts by licensing articles from big-name publications and connecting those brands with freelance writers.
Investors include: FirstMark Capital, FTV Capital, InterWest Partners and others.

$45M / Series C for  

Capillary Technologies that develops a cloud-based customer analytics marketing platform for retailers and consumer businesses. With this new fresh capital, the company intends to expand into India, China, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
Investors include: Norwest Venture Partners - NVP,  Sequoia Capital and Warburg Pincus.

$120M / Private Equity for  

Tanium ; a security and systems management solution that allows real-time data collection at enterprise scale.
New Investors include: Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) and TPG.

$3.0M / Series A for  

Crosswise that uses big data, machine learning and algorithms to build a consumer device map for ad tech vendors, consumer brands and premium publishers.
Investors include: Pereg Ventures, ZhenFund, Emerge Fund and others.

 

$3.8M / Seed for

Instabase ; a data operating system for the web. With $3.75M in seed funding, the company aims to build a hub for data solutions that "can range from tools and interfaces for knowledge workers, to business users, to data scientists, to programmers".
Investors include: New Enterprise Associates and Greylock Partners.

$17M / Venture for

Peloton Technology; an automated vehicle technology company that links pairs of heavy trucks through vehicle-to-vehicle communications.
Investors include: Lockheed Martin, DENSO International and Intel Capital.

$13M / Series B for

Wrap Media that provides a web app creator for mobile advertisers and it has launched its storytelling and commerce platform.
Investors include: Raine Ventures, ProSieben Media and Dream Incubator.

$40M / Series C for

Zivame ; an India-based online lingerie store that enables customers to browse items by category, brand, color and size. The company intends to build a community of shoppers while encouraging women to discuss and share ideas.
Investors include: IDG Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Khazanah Nasional Berhad and more.

$75M / Series D for
Netskope that protects cloud-based software for enterprise users. The new funding brings Netskope's total funding to over $130M to date.
Investors include: Iconiq Capital, Accel Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and more.

BUX; an app that gives users the simulation experience of buying and selling certain real stocks without using real money.

Virool ; a programmatic video marketing platform for individuals, small businesses and global brands and their agencies.

Letgo; a mobile app that lets users buy and sell items locally. With the Series A, the company plans to expand its current team of 39 employees.
