DevOps Practices to Windows Server Environments.
It is more and more exciting
to observe that adoption of DevOps practices increases with great impact on IT
automation and complex management challenges.
The stakes are huge as our
digital age requires henceforth streamlined experiences at each level.
At Puppet Labs, henceforth, new Supported Modules for Windows
PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) and Windows Server Update Service
are available with the goal to allow Windows Teams to define infrastructure as
Puppet Code, enabling DevOps Practices such as Continuous Delivery, and Faster
and Higher Quality Deployments.
For those
who unfamiliar, Connectikpeople.co recalls that, Windows
PowerShell DSC is a platform for managing and deploying changes to Windows
resources and currently supports over 200 resources, including Microsoft Azure
Active Directory, Microsoft Internet Information Services, Microsoft Azure, and
more.
