Google Cloud Vision API in Beta to understand the contents of those images
Stakes related to images in our ever-connected are huge; so that, it is indispensable for service providers to understand the contents of those images.
The beta release of Google Cloud Vision
API, means that anyone can submit
their images to the Cloud Vision API to understand the contents of those images:
from detecting everyday objects to reading text within the image or
identifying product logos.
You can now access the API with location of images stored in Google Cloud Storage, along with existing support of embedding an image as part of the API request.
Cloud Vision API supports a broad set of scenarios: Insights from your images; Inappropriate content detection; Image sentiment analysis and Text extraction where the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) can enable you to detect text within your images, along with automatic language identification across a broad set of languages.
