China, Russia and India in the Automotive Telematics industry

Many analysts across the world and unanimous on the fact, the Automotive industry is witnessing a phase of digital revolution. 

In effect, the stakes the technology are increasingly appropriated, so that, over the next few years, automobiles will be completely transformed into communication objects, according to Research and Markets.

One can observe that, in APAC region, Chinese Government has rolled out a regulation for usage of fleet management solution in every vehicle effective from 2014. Russia and India have a joint venture to provide navigation services in India, which includes setting up the telematics terminals and portable navigation devices. 

For those who are unfamiliar, Telematics are information and telecommunication products that combine computers and telecommunication services for transferring large amounts of data in vehicles in real-time.
