The transition of traditional infrastructure services into next-generation infrastructure services
It is increasingly exciting to see that, increased adoption of cloud
technology is leading to the transition of traditional infrastructure services
into next-generation infrastructure services, where hardware and software are replaced with virtual desktops and
cloud services.
The cloud computing brings up its
ability to reduce cost, mitigate risk, and achieve scalability of database
capabilities, to name a few.
“There is a growing demand for integrated service providers because
buyers are looking to bundle all their IT infrastructure needs, as it
eliminates supply chain complexities associated with multiple suppliers,”
said Angad Singh, a procurement intelligence specialist, at Technavio.
