IEEE P7002™: Standards Project Addressing Data Privacy Processes and Methodologies

At the core of stakes, we have IEEE P7002 ^TM which defines requirements for a systems/software engineering process for privacy-oriented considerations regarding products, services, and systems utilizing personal data.

 

In effect, IEEE P7002™ is approved as a new standards development project whose purpose is to provide one overall methodological approach that specifies practices to manage privacy issues within the systems/software engineering life cycle processes. 

I can also recall that, titled “Data Privacy Process,” IEEE P7002 aims to define specific procedures, as well as provide diagrams and checklists, so that users of the standard can perform thorough and accurate conformity assessments of their specific privacy practices.
