Following the recent release in September 2012 regarding the availability of custom audiences Tool which allows marketers reach their current customers with relevant ads on Facebook, henceforth since February 27, 2013 Facebook has decided officially to expand custom audiences to allow
businesses to work with select third parties such as: Datalogix, Epsilon, Acxiom, and BlueKai.
Therefore Facebook members in USA for the first time will begin to receive targeted ads.

Facebook explains that: ‘’for example, an auto dealer may want to customize an offer to people who are likely to be in the market for a new car. To do this many businesses work with third party companies to better understand who might be in the market for a new car.’’
This means that Facebook will allow businesses to do the same thing via its custom audiences tool.
